While wondering about why there are flavors in friendships, I got to an understanding that friendship is made of few components. Instead of treating these in a state of flux, we can treat them modular. This could make our life a lot easier. Because, the we can't be everything for everyone (or some people).
This concept builds on the understanding that we believe in a good social circle with various people sharing mutual interests in certain areas.
Studying, working, games
Acquaintance, school friend or best friend
How much important are they for survival
and our responsibility
How much far are they? Same neighborhood/city/country
The special thing that makes them standout for us
An understanding of these elements helps us differentiate and modularize. This helps in prioritizing the events where we need to be, stay less drained and if possible a bit happy.
